Dancing for Children
To children of the world - Ballroom and Latin American Dancing is a sport and art rolled into one. It is very physical and requires great strength of mind and body. The boys in particular must be fit and strong. It is not a sport for the faint hearted and the strength required is equal to someone taking up football. If you think you are tough enough, go along to your nearest Dance Centre. We are one of those dance centres.
Ballroom Dances include:

Viennese Waltz
Latin American Dances include:
Cha Cha Cha
Jive
Rumba
Samba
Paso Doble
Salsa
Mambo
Rock n Roll and Sequence Dancing (Ballroom, Latin American and Old Time) are also taught at many dance schools, including ours.

Children / Teenager Classes at Cosmopolitan Dance
Ann has a class for 6 to 10 year old children on Thursdays. This is at 6pm for one hour and is held weekly at a cost of £4.50. The class is for beginners in Ballroom and Latin American dancing. New members would be welcome to join this class. Contact Ann by phone (01425 278121) or email if you are interested.
There is also a continuing class for children / teenagers (9 to 15) at 5:30pm on Fridays, which started at the beginning of 2007. Contact Ann by phone or email if you are interested in joining this class. Teenagers are also welcome to attend the adult classes list on the "Classes" page.
For those who wish to take medal tests, these are arranged through the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing
